Venturing into the outdoors has long been acknowledged as healing for the body and good for the soul. These benefits may be even more profound for someone experiencing an illness, injury or disability.

For that reason, the Hunter Services and Adaptive Shooting Programs of the NRA have compiled a list of organizations that specifically offer outdoor opportunities for people with disabilities. These opportunities may be a guided whitetail hunt, a chartered fishing trip or a chance to hike an accessible trail.

Whatever your interest, the organizations featured below offer a dose of fresh air and sunshine to jumpstart or prolong the healing process.
